Aqui, o oriente é diferente!
Muito perto da fronteira com o Laos, esta cidade parece um cenário de um filme fantástico! Tudo aqui é diferente, com diversos templos extraordinariamente invulgares e as figuras e símbolos da religião budista em dimensões desconcertantes.
Se lhe agrada estar neste ambiente declaradamente oriental e especial, vai adorar o passeio, e para que possa tirar o máximo proveito, deixamos-lhe aqui algumas sugestões imperdíveis:
Wat Rong Khun ou o Templo Branco
Construído em 1997, e com conclusão prevista para 2070, este templo, que parece ser feito de açúcar, é uma obra privada assinada pelo pintor e arquiteto tailandês Chalermchai Kositpipat, que o dedicou ao Buda numa tentativa de conquistar a sua imortalidade. É possível que o tenha conseguido!
Para além do seu intricado design, em que não parece haver um espaço liso ou sem intervenção, o material com que foi construído contém partículas refletivas. Assim, quando o sol o ilumina, o templo brilha, tornando-o ainda mais espetacular. Simplesmente sublime!
Baan Dam ou a Black House
Do branco passamos para o negro e esta casa, ou melhor, conjunto de casas, é fantástico! São cerca de 40 edifícios com uma traça inspirada na arquitetura tradicional tailandesa, apesar de serem uma obra contemporânea (1975).
Situadas no meio da natureza, este original condomínio é um pouco de tudo – museu, estúdio de arte, casa do seu autor, o artista Thawan Duchanee, falecido em 2014, que foi mestre do arquiteto autor do Templo Branco.
Um espaço provocador, provavelmente diferente de tudo o que já viu, com um ambiente sombrio, que inclui animais embalsamados por todo o lado, esculturas em madeira, obras de arte antigas e modernas e um misto de tradicional e espiritual, com irreverência e espírito crítico, que é engraçado de ver e descobrir.
Wat Rong Suea Ten ou Templo Azul
Ainda a propósito de cores, valerá a pena passar, também, pelo Templo Azul, também conhecido por ‘Casa do Tigre Dançante’.
Concluído em 2016, da autoria de Putha Kabkaew, aluno do criador do Templo Branco, este templo é predominantemente azul por simbolizar a tranquilidade, o infinito, a cura.
Um local com um ambiente fascinante, onde se vai sentir em harmonia com a envolvente. É memorável!
